Booking and lead times

The show opens on a fixed date whether the model is ready or not, so the schedule is the first thing to settle.

• Small display models: 2 to 3 weeks build time
• Large or illuminated centrepiece models: 4 to 6 weeks
• Book 6 to 8 weeks before the show for a comfortable programme

Shorter is possible and we do it regularly, but compressing the schedule means parallel working and it is reflected in the price. If you know your show date, tell us at enquiry stage even if the design is not final.

Building for your stand

Our trade show display models are designed around the stand, not the other way round. Before we start we need the stand layout, the position the model will occupy, and the viewing access — a model seen from one side is built differently from one people walk around.

We provide the finished dimensions, weight and any power requirement early so your stand contractor can plan the plinth, floor loading and cable routing. Late coordination on power for a lit model is one of the most common problems on exhibition builds, and it is avoidable.

Lighting options

Most centrepiece models are lit, because exhibition halls are visually noisy and light is what makes a stand stop people. Lighting is planned before assembly begins, since the wiring runs inside the structure. We can supply interior building glow, lit landscaping, highlighted hero elements, or a sequenced day/night cycle on a timer.

Delivery and installation at DWTC and ADNEC

Models above about 1.5 metres are built in sections, crated, and assembled on site during build-up. Installation typically takes two to four hours. We deliver in line with the organiser's build-up schedule and coordinate access with your stand contractor.

For high-value or fragile models we can attend on the opening morning to check the model once the stand is complete.

Using the model again after the show

Exhibition models frequently have a second life in a sales centre, an office reception, or at the next event. If that is likely, tell us at the start — a model built to travel repeatedly is constructed differently, with a reinforced base and a transport case. We can also arrange collection and storage after the show.
